I’ve always been involved in fitness through sports. I started competing in 2006.

FITNESS ACCOMPLISHMENTS

I have been an athlete my whole life, playing soccer, basketball, field hockey, softball, running track, and swam on the swim team. Competition is what I live for and it is what I breathe every day. I started to get into lifting when my 4 years of college soccer came to an end at West Chester University. I started going to the gym with Rob, who was my boyfriend at the time, and did what he did. I easily became addicted. I always wanted to see how much I could max out and train heavier and heavier. It was like my own competition I had with myself everyday!!

I then entered my first figure competition in 2006 at the Lehigh Valley Championships and competed in figure up until 2010. My goal was to become an IFBB figure Pro, however, I didn’t always do as well in figure. My heavy training and constant desire to put on muscle didn’t always place me very high. I continued to compete, because I enjoyed the competition and prepping and training for shows. It gave me something to work towards and I enjoyed watching how I could transform my body. Nationals of 2010, Atlanta, was my very last figure show before they came out with the new Physique division, which is a step above figure. Since I was always told I was too big, too muscular, and too hard for figure, the new physique division sounded like it was made for girls who loved to lift heavy and like putting on some muscle. Physique was right in the middle, which was me!! I decided to do the very FIRST Physique show, which was 2011, JR. USA’s in Charleston, SC. I not only won my class of 25-30 girls, but I won the OVERALL, received my IFBB pro card, and became the very FIRST WOMEN’S PHYSIQUE PRO in the NPC/IFBB!!!! I conquered my IFBB Pro dream and created history!!

I am now competing professionally in physique with the IFBB. In 2012, I competed at the very first physique pro show, Desert Muscle Classic 2012, where I placed 4th and also the New York Pro show. This year, I took some time to focus on traveling, promoting, and working on bringing an even better package to the stage. I came back in 2013 with a 2nd place finish at the Tampa Pro and then competed the following weekend at the 2013 Dallas Europa, where I not only won, but received my ticket to the Olympia!! This year will be the very first Olympia for the new women’s physique division. I feel so honored to be a part of the first physique Olympia in history!!!

STRANGEST PLACE MY 6 PACK HAS BEEN?

At a Demolition Derby. For those of you who may not know what a Demolition Derby is…It is a car race on a mud track where the drivers deliberately ram their vehicles into one another. The last driver whose vehicle is still operating is awarded the victory. Basically everyone there is drinking beer and eating hotdogs and I have my 6pack bag full of cold fish, chicken, turkey, rice, and vegetables.

What is your current diet?

I’m currently prepping for the Olympia, so it is 6 solid meals and 1 shake meal a day comprised of eggwhites, chicken, fish, turkey, white rice, sweet potatoes and veggies.

When did you start eating healthy?

I didn’t start eating “healthy” until I got into figure competitions. I was a poor college student living off ramen noodles, cereal, and food from the café. When I started learning and realizing how much of a role food plays into muscle building, I started to change my ways. Now, even in my off-season, I stay pretty close to my diet. I do not just eat “clean” when it is show time. This is a lifestyle for me.

Favorite cheat meal?

Cheesecake Factory’s Grande Burrito with alllllllll the good stuff and PB Cup cheesecake!!! I get this after every show!

What is your current workout split?

Legs, Chest, Back, Legs, Delts, Arms…Repeat.

A perfect workout?

At the FNF WARhouse gym, garage bay open, nice breeze coming inside, metal blaring so loud you can’t hear yourself, and having Rob there to scream at me…then go eat at a buffet for post workout meal.

How do you use your 6 Pack Bag?

My 6 Pack Bag goes everywhere with me. Some girls carry purses, I carry a 6 Pack bag. It comes with me to work all day at the warehouse, it travels with me in my car on road trips, it travels with me on airplanes, it comes with me to fitness expos. It goes everywhere! Food is a vital component to any fitness goal, so you need to always be prepared with food. It is so hard to find clean, healthy food on the road, especially while traveling. I am always prepared with my own food!
