28-year-old Jacki Frye is on her way to stardom in the fitness world after her success as a finalist at the Arnold Sports Festival. This athletic goddess may be new to the bikini scene, but she’s no stranger to competition: a former competitive all-star cheerleader, she traded in her pom poms for weights. Strength training quickly became a passion for Jacki, who not only is dedicated to her own fitness goals, but also loves to help others achieve their full fitness potential, too.
She took the fitness world by storm in 2015 when she began competing in the NPC (National Physique Committee). A true passion for the sport, augmented with dedication, led to her competing in four NPC regional shows and four national shows. In 2016, she placed 6th at the NPC Universe!
Jacki decided to enter the Arnold Model Search a year later, which began with submitting three photos. After one month of fans and fitness freaks voting for their favorites, the top 12 women advanced to the finals at the 2017 Arnold Sports Festival. As soon as she knew, she began a mini-competition prep to mimic the full-scale one she does for her regular NPC bikini competition shows, working closely with her coach to train and eat properly.
“When I found out that I was a finalist, it was one of the best feelings I have had in this sport!”
As Jacki’s first time attending the festival, placing in the top 5 finalists for the model search was a special moment for her. It didn’t happen by pure luck, of course – Jacki has most assuredly put in the hard work. She has now embarked on a 14-week prep for her next competition. The Junior Nationals in Chicago will have Jacki battling it out for her IFBB – International Federation of BodyBuilding and Fitness – professional card.
“Being around thousands of people who share the same passion as you is the biggest high. The energy was amazing and I continue to make lifelong friends. It’s a true ‘fit family.’”
Of course, every fitness warrior needs the proper tools to succeed and Jacki is making all of her #fitlife goals come true with the help of 6 Pack Fitness. Avidly using 6 Pack’s original meal management bags for the past five years has been one of the top reasons she can stay on track with her meals and train hard. Jacki has multiple bags and uses each one for different reasons; her current line-up includes the Innovator 300, two Innovator 500s, the Renee Tote and Expedition 500 Backpack. Another aspect she appreciates about the bags is that they come with leak-proof, spill-proof meal containers. “Tupperware containers are like socks: you always end up missing a piece, so it’s great that these are included,” Jacki joked. She just became a 6 Pack ambassador this year and we cannot wait to see where her efforts take her next!
“I love that I am able to stay on track with my meal plan by having a stylish, quality meal management bag for every occasion. They help me remain organized and keep my food fresh.”
