Fortunately for Rovie, he has an iron will and kept a strict commitment to his new diet, thanks in part to some help from his trusty 6 Pack Bag. Read on to find out how he learned to plan his meals, maintain his diet and use his meal management system to his benefit.
What has using a 6 Pack Bag done for your diet?
The 6 Pack Bag has been helping me out with my diet and food maintenance. I am very active and always on the go and if I didn't have the bag, there is no way I could manage and keep track of my food intake. Putting my meals in my bag keeps it fresh and accessible when I need to it. Also, I am able to enjoy drinking my post-workout shakes since the bag has a feature where it keeps my beverages chilled.
I eat every two to three hours so wherever I am when its time for me to eat, I have my meals ready. This saves me time and money because I don't have to search for healthy food and buy expensive restaurant meals. Preparing meals every night became a daily routine for me. Since I bought my 6 Pack Bags, I never had to ask myself, "What am I going to eat for lunch?" I have been reading on a lot of forums that "abs are made in the kitchen." What's your meal prep process like?
I usually prepare all my meats on Sunday night and store them in a big Tupperware container. To keep my vegetables fresh, I steam, grill, or boil them the night before. This system has been efficient for me because it saves me time from preparing full meals every night. I have become so accustomed to this and it really has become my daily routine. As soon as I get home from work, I wash my Sure Seal Containers, cook my veggies and prepare my meals!
Are there any recipes you've created for your 6 Pack Bag?
I've learned a few recipes since I started using the 6 Pack Bag. I grill my meat using a portable grill. I've noticed a huge improvement in my performance after I eliminated red meats in my diet so I eat mostly seafood, chicken breast and turkey. I use Mrs. Dash and garlic powder to add flavor to my foods.
My coworkers call me "The Asparagus Man" since asparagus is one of my favorite vegetables and I eat it almost everyday. I like to grill my veggies with no seasonings because I use them as carbs instead of rice or pasta. The 6 Pack Bag is perfect for me because I eat six to seven meals a day and my bag holds up to three meals, protein shakes, supplements and snacks. It is my go-to bag when I need something related to nutrition.
How do you keep motivated when it comes to eating right and working out?
I keep myself motivated to work out and eating right because I love this lifestyle. Also, my grandfather died at 45, due to cardiac arrest. He was diagnosed with Diabetes at an early age. I am very proud of my accomplishments and I want to continue living this way. I wake up every day feeling great and knowing I am fit and healthy inside and out. I want to continue this forever because I would like to set a good example for my loved ones, friends and my future kids.
