The meal prep struggle is real; having to sacrifice flavor in order to keep your diet on point can be really tough. Most people can go to the store and grab something off the shelf to add flavor to their food- but you’re not most people. After living this healthy lifestyle along with you, and recognizing that there was not a solution on the market that is both healthy and tastes great, we decided to take matters into our own hands. But let’s be honest- we’re the experts in meal management, not flavor design.
6 Pack Fitness has partnered with culinary authority, Chef Parke Ulrich, to create the first line of sauces that are specifically formulated for nutritionally conscious athletes. Ulrich, the Executive Chef at both Waterbar and Epic Steak, two of San Francisco’s premier culinary establishments, has been at the forefront in crafting the proprietary recipes for our sauces.
Utilizing his expertise in flavor pairings, Parke identified the type of enhancements needed to elevate the taste of popular meal prep foods. Together, we tested and tweaked a multitude of formulations until we found the best combination of intense flavor, perfect amount of heat, and spot-on nutrition. We are extremely excited about our partnership and look forward to creating more options for you.
After getting his B.A. degree from Ohio Wesleyan University, Parke Ulrich went on to the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, New York where he graduated FIRST in his class! Getting an early start, Chef Parke Ulrich was already making a name for himself after receiving the opportunity to work under George Perrier at the upscale five star, French restaurant Le Bec Fin, in Philadelphia, PA. It was at Le Bec Fin where Ulrich refined his craft and refined his palate for flavor and seasoning.
After working at Le Bec Fin, Ulrich set his sights on the San Francisco Bay Area due to the culinary renaissance it was experiencing. From his history working with different types of sauces and seasonings at Le Bec Fin, Chef Parke Ulrich ushered in a new era for Waterbar and Epic Steak. The Bay Area’s primary focus of fresh organic ingredients coupled with Ulrich’s extensive experience with simple French cuisine created the recipe for the success of WaterBar and Epic Steak.
